There was once was a young cream dollop named Goup, who lived on Pie Island. They were a part of the biggest area of Pie Island, the Valley of Filling.

From what Goup had remembered from geography and history class, Pie Island was discovered by the first ever Pie Family, the Royal Cherries. When they first landed, the Island was just a mountainous range of crust. Seeing the rugged and craggy landscape, they invited the other Pie families, to help them make Pie Island to what it is today.
Nowadays there are lots of different families that take care of their piece of Pie Island. There are the Cherry, Pecan, Pumpkin, Apple, Blueberry, Peach, Coconut Cream, and Lemon Meringue families. Still being young, Goup will spend time experiencing and learning life on Pie Island from all of the other more experienced dollops. After observing and studying, he will have to pass his grand pie test in order to be adopted into one of the eight pie families.
“How do you know which family will adopt you?” Goup asked a group of the older dollops.

“You just help out as best you can where you feel comfortable shuga, then you’ll know what you can do!” replied Dolly, one of the eldest dollops, “Once you prove you can work hard, like me, then everyone will want you.”
“Well which family do you want to be in?” asked Goup
“Why, the best and most noble one of course! I have Royal Cherry blood flowing through me, they’d adopt me if they knew what’s good for em.” Dolly sternly replied, as she strutted towards the Royal Cherry slice.
(Dollops have blood?) Goup thought, (maybe it’s an expression? I guess I’ll go see what each piece is about before I decide,)
Off Goup adventured, he visited the nutty Pecan groves, dove into the spicey and plump Apple-lachians, and before he knew it he was right back to where he started. He sat thinking about all of the different types of things he saw and how they all were so different and unique.
“Everyone seems so awesome! I loved seeing all of the different families and all the work they do. Every piece I visited seemed to have its own distinct flavor, I just don’t know who I want to work with!” Goup thought.
“Am I special enough to help? I don’t know where I would fit in, maybe anywhere? Why don’t they all just work together? Why do they have so many separate pieces? I have way more questions than before.” Goup stressfully discussed with himself.

Suddenly there was a panic on the island! One of the pieces of pie valley started to spoil and smell, the smell was so bad that Goup almost lost his lunch. He followed his nose to all the way back to the Cherry slice!
When Goup arrived he saw a mob of members from each family arguing and fighting.
“How could you let your piece spoil!”
“I’m not taking care of your piece, not with all that I have to work on in my piece!”
“Fix this smell or else!”
In the center of the commotion there was the head of the Royal Cherry, Montmorency, standing over a dollop. That dollop was none other than Dolly, the dollop who claimed to be the hardest worker!

“Just because you claim to be the hardest worker, doesn’t mean you can become lackadaisical!” huffed Montmorency. “Now look what you’ve done, you’ve made more work for everyone…”
As the arguing and bickering continued, Goup couldnt handle the smell any longer and moved past the group to the steadily growing spoiled area. Without really know how or where to start, he just started the best he could and tried to clean up the mess.
“Hey look! What’s that dollop doing?” the mob noticed, “We can’t let one of us clean it all up!”
Watching a small but honorable example of hard work, Montmorency decided to reach out and share his strength with Goup. Suddenly, the pair began to glow and morph together into: Unicorn Hero! The legendary myth of Pie Island!

“WE MUST STOP THIS FIGHTING AND FIX THE ROT BEFORE IT SPREADS TO THE REST OF THE ISLAND!” roared Goup, the Unicorn of Unity. With the powerful motivation of Unity the group was able to clean all of the spoiled area and the sweet aroma of cherries returned. Feeling successful, things returned to normal and Goup became a member to all of the pie families as a symbol of Unity to all who needed it.
The End
*Writers Note: Thank you for reading this silly story of mine. I would like to share my initial reasoning for writing this as well as a potential moral to this story. I believe you can learn a moral from any story all depending on how you visualize things. I thought this would be a good idea to depict the importance of Unity in life whether it be work, school, family settings etc. In any setting, there will always be a responsibility that must be maintained, or a piece of the pie and if we don’t take care of each piece, it could cause more problems for everyone. Sometimes understanding each piece is important to invite unity and comradery. Everyone has a place in the Pie, it’s just up to us to make sure that each piece is taken care of. Thanks again!
